Greetings All ~
We’re coming through a time that “no one could have predicted.” Granted, it has been a biggie. It upended the entire planet and, realistically, continues to do so. It pulled the rug out from under plans made by a ruling class (heh heh heh).
We humans like to make plans. It’s a form of control. Rivers are re-routed for city plans. Mountains are drilled through for highway and railroad plans. Entire species are modified for dinner plans. By planning, we feel like we’re in control. Then we call it Reality. Just in case, we come up with Plan Bs, thinking that we’re clever and oh, so flexible.
But even with the most meticulous planning, I have experienced nagging fears at times. The Ego starts humming it’s #1 hit, “What if…?” Suddenly, that feeling of control slips away and doubt replaces it.
There are many practices for the removal of doubt. But I like to get to the source before doubt sets in. It’s not a race I always win. But trying can be fun.
The mantra “Hara Re Gura Re Har Har Gura Re Hara Re Gura Re Gur Gur Hara Re” clears unwanted thoughts. It has been one of the most comforting sound currents in my world for a few years now. It can be a bit of a tongue twister and hard to sustain at first, but totally worth it.
I love and respect it enough to have recorded it so others may benefit. Sometimes I just play it quietly through the night to clear the torrent of the subconscious mind’s fearful nonsense.
Here is a link to my version. There may be others.
Please let me know how you’re doing.
I learn so much from you.
All Good Things,
